Currently, the ELRS radio system does not yet have approval in Germany, which means that it is not officially released for operation in the country.

However, the Federal Network Agency is currently in the process of reviewing whether approval for ELRS can be considered.

The purpose of this review is to evaluate the technical, legal and safety aspects of the radio system to determine whether it complies with national regulations and standards and can be used without hesitation.

The ELRS-R24-V is a compact and powerful radio system designed specifically for gliders and other fixed-wing aircraft. Its small size allows it to be easily installed in gliders with limited payload compartments such as DLG's and high performance trailers. You don't have to install an additional altimeter/pitch indicator, saving space and weight.

The integrated barometer provides telemetry for vertical speed. The climb and descent tone of the pitch indicator gives you audible feedback, so you know if you are flying upwind or downwind without looking at your transmitter display.

With ExpressLRS firmware and CRSF protocol, you also get other telemetry data such as battery voltage, current and GPS information.
