DESIGNED FOR BOTH HD AND ANALOG SYSTEMS
The QAV-PRO WHOOP frame was designed from the ground up to be highly versatile, allowing for many different configurations with the same design. The cell is designed for 30.5 x 30.5, 25.5 x 25.5, and 20 x 20 stacks and accommodates the Caddx Vista digital HD system or the DJI Air Unit with two SMA mounting holes for antennas. The frame also provides mounting points for a camera, receiver, transmitter and more.
IMPROVED PERFORMANCE FOR CINEMA CAMERAS
With the Lumenier QAV-PRO WHOOP Cinequads Edition, you can build your quad just the way you want it. Many important features are presented here in the form of a 5-inch drone! The robust carbon fiber cage offers increased safety. This quad can carry any cinema camera up to 1.5 kg. The vibration from the motors and propellers can be very problematic for many drones, but with the QAV-PRO WHOOP, this problem has been solved with a special pusher configuration that allows for a super clean image with your cinema camera! With this design, pilots have the option to mount the flight controller on the bottom while the motors are mounted on the top plate. The pusher configuration has also improved flight times by 15-20% and provides even better throttle response.
CENTRAL CORE DESIGN - LIGHT AND STIFF
The design of this frame is the result of months of testing. At first glance it may seem like a plain, simple design, but it is ultimately the result of the finest German engineering by Cinequads designer Boris, who spent months focusing on this project. Boris is known for his work designing concept vehicles for the Mercedes Benz Group. His knowledge is incorporated into this unique QAV-PRO cell. The goal for the QAV-PRO WHOOP was to have the strongest design with the lightest frame. This Whop features a reinforced construction that focuses on areas normally known as weak points. The QAV-PRO WHOOP features an unprecedented center core that gives the frame remarkable rigidity and protects all cables and electronics from spinning propellers.
SUPPORT FOR MULTIPLE CINEMA CAMERAS
When shooting professionally, cinematographers want versatility when it comes to taking multiple shots. Being able to mount your camera backwards or switch from a RED KOMODO to a bare Blackmagic in a matter of minutes is not practical. We've integrated threaded inserts from the most popular mounts on the market into this frame to provide that convenience. The QAV-PRO WHOOP easily fits a variety of mounts, including the Blackmagic mount (from the well-known Le Pigeon company) as well as the Siccario mounts from our friends at Shendrones.
