In quadcopters, motors and ESCs can generate noise that can affect the quality of your FPV video. This compact and effective LC filter uses large-volume inductor and capacitor components designed to clean up a noisy DC power supply that often causes lines in wireless video.

The most common signs of noise are annoying lines that appear on the screen when flying. Problems often occur in sensitive FPV video systems when long power cables (7 cm+) are used, wiring space is limited, transmitters are improperly filtered, noise occurs from the speed controller or DC-DC voltage converter in switching mode, or a common battery is most often used to minimize weight. The interference can cause video lines, banding, random dropouts, and reduced transmission range.

For example, if your robot or R/C model's 12V motor battery also powers the video camera and A/V transmitter, this LC filter can help reduce the video "noise" that can occur when the motor is running.
