The DJI Mavic 3 series offers next-generation imaging performance. The Mavic 3 Pro's triple camera system ushers in a new era of camera drones by incorporating three image sensors and lenses with different focal lengths. With a Hasselblad camera and two telephoto cameras, the Mavic 3 Pro opens up new perspectives for shooting, allowing you to further explore creative freedom, capture mesmerizing landscapes, explore photographic storytelling and create cinematic masterpieces.
The DJI Mavic 3 series is available in three versions: Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic 3 Pro Cine and Mavic 3 Classic.
The Mavic 3 Pro features a three-camera, multi-focal length imaging system that includes a 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad 24mm format equivalent camera, a new 1/1.3-inch CMOS 70mm telephoto camera and an updated 166mm telephoto camera. The Mavic 3 Pro offers improved imaging performance and a maximum flight time of approximately 43 minutes.
In addition to these features of the Mavic 3, the DJI Mavic 3 Cine supports Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 LT codecs and has a built-in 1TB SSD for high-speed data storage.
The Mavic 3 Classic has a 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera and a maximum flight time of approximately 46 minutes.
Yes, the DJI Mavic 3 series supports DJI Goggles 2, DJI Goggles Integra and DJI RC Motion 2 motion control unit.
The DJI Mavic 3 Pro (DJI RC) includes a DJI RC remote controller, a DJI 65W portable charger and an intelligent flight battery.
The DJI Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo includes a newly upgraded DJI 100W USB-C power supply, a battery charging station (100W), three intelligent flight batteries, an ND filter set (ND8/16/32/64) and a DJI shoulder bag.
Compared to the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Fly More Combo, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine Premium Combo includes the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine with a built-in 1TB SSD and a DJI 10Gbpss Lightspeed data cable for high-speed data transfer.
Choose the combo that best suits your needs.
Use the included DJI 10 Gbit/s Lightspeed data cable to connect the aircraft to your computer via the USB-C port. Make sure that the write speed of your storage device is above 700 MB/s. Other data cables are not recommended as they may take longer to transfer files due to the lack of high-speed transfer.
If you are using the DJI Mavic 3 Pro series, there are various ways to switch between the cameras.
If you want to use the camera in both image and video mode, you can use the scroll wheel to digitally zoom from 1x to 3x, 3x to 7x and 7x to 28x. If you scroll through the zoom digitally, you only switch to another lens when the zoom reaches the optical zoom range of the next lens.
In all other photo modes: Single, AEB, Burst and Timed Shot, you can only access the optical zoom of each lens by tapping the 1, 3 and 7 on the screen in the camera view.
In the video modes, you can use the scroll wheel to zoom digitally or click on the corresponding optical zoom numbers on the camera view screen. When you select the zoom by tapping the screen, you will automatically switch to the lens with that focal length.
The DJI Mavic 3 Pro series supports Pro mode in normal photo and video mode, but not in Explore mode.
The medium telephoto camera and telephoto camera support taking RAW photos in normal photo mode, but not in Explore mode.
Yes, all three cameras in the DJI Mavic 3 Pro series support SmartPhoto. SmartPhoto must continuously take multiple photos for image synthesis. If the aircraft is moving or using the medium telephoto camera with a resolution of 48MP, SmartPhoto is not available and the image results may differ.
DJI RC Pro, DJI RC and DJI RC-N1.
When using a DJI RC Pro or DJI RC-N1 remote control, the maximum transmission range is 15 km.
Once the video recording is set to 30 fps or higher at any resolution, the frame rate of the live feed will automatically change to 48/50/60 fps during video transmission, depending on the decoding capability of the cell phone and the transmission bandwidth.
No.
Yes. 1 Once connected to the DJI Mavic 3 series, the DJI RC-N1 remote controller automatically performs a firmware update. Just like the DJI RC Pro, the RC-N1 remote controller supports O3+ image transmission.
2. In an environment without obstacles or interference, both remote controllers can achieve a transmission range of up to 15 km with FCC compliance.*
3. Both remote controllers support 1080p/60fps live feeds.
When used with different drones, both remote controllers automatically select the appropriate firmware version to update and support the following transmission technologies that are possible with the connected drones:
a. DJI Mini 2 / DJI Mavic Air 2: O2
b. DJI Air 2S: O3
c. DJI Mavic 3 O3+ series
If a propeller is damaged or deformed, replace it immediately to ensure safe flight.
Attach the propellers with gray markings to the motors with the same gray markings and attach the other two propellers without markings to the corresponding motors without markings. For more information on attaching the propellers to the aircraft, please refer to the Propellers section of the Mavic 3 Pro User Manual.
The flight time was measured in a controlled test environment. The specific test conditions were: Flight at a constant speed of 32.4 km/h in a windless environment at NHN, APAS and AirSense turned off, camera parameters set to 1080p/24fps, video mode off and from 100% battery level to 0%.
Actual results may vary depending on environment, usage and firmware version.
The DJI Mavic 3 series can detect obstacles in all directions with extreme precision. With multiple sensor cameras with an extended detection range, the Mavic 3 series can react to obstacles earlier. In a well-lit environment, the Mavic 3 series can fly around obstacles faster and smoother, capturing stable footage even when flying sideways or backwards.
ActiveTrack 5.0 tracks subjects in eight directions and offers more creative possibilities. Embedded with the latest subject recognition technology, ActiveTrack 5.0 uses multiple vision sensors simultaneously to recognize a subject, distinguish it from other objects, and lock the subject in the frame. This allows users to smoothly adjust subject tracking angles for more natural results. Thanks to the new environment and subject detection algorithms, the Mavic 3 reacts earlier to subject movement and environmental information and plans an optimal tracking route in advance to capture uninterrupted and stable footage.
Compared to the maximum forward detection distance of 20 meters of previous generations, the DJI Mavic 3 series has a maximum forward detection distance of 200 meters during automatic return flight (RTH). During flight, the Mavic 3 series uses advanced sensor technologies to determine the safest and most energy-efficient flight route to return the drone to its take-off point.
In Nifty mode, the sensitivity of obstacle detection is reduced. Evasive maneuvers are less noticeable and therefore have less impact on your footage.
With the new Wi-Fi 6 protocol, data transfer is even faster. The download speed can be up to 80 MB/s. In addition, Series Mavic 3 automatically selects the fastest transfer compared to the DJI Mini 2. This is done based on the wireless environment without the need to manually switch to Wi-Fi mode, making it easier to use.
Approximately 96 min when charging with the connected USB-C charging cable of the DJI 65W Portable Charger.
Approximately 70 minutes when charging with the DJI 100W USB-C power supply and charging cable.
Yes, but to ensure charging efficiency, we recommend using the DJI 65W Portable Charger, DJI 100W USB-C Power Adapter or other chargers 60W and above that support the PPS/PD protocol.
