Introducing the Lumenier QAV-S Freestyle and Cinematic Quadcopter Frame. The QAV-S is the new addition to the QAV line and features functionality, simplicity and ease of use.

After several months of work and research, Santiago Espindola "EspeedyFPV", Lumenier designer and FPV pilot, developed an airframe that meets his needs for constant travel, freestyle and workflows in the Cinematic industry. As a result, Santiago developed the QAV-S, which offers features such as an easy HD camera swap, quick carbon fiber maintenance, convenient access to the electronic stack, and an option for an analog or digital HD system. All of these features and its attention to detail make this frame the perfect platform for pilots who need a reliable and versatile rig for cinematic freestyle.

The QAV-S is a 5-inch freestyle and cinematic frame that is extremely durable, easy to handle, and tuned to provide the best performance and feel. The QAV-S has many small details that have been well thought out - including high quality Lumenier carbon fiber with machined and beveled edges in all panels, 7075 colored aluminum standoffs that give the quad a sleek look, and all hardware is included.

The QAV-S brings several new innovations to the table. The first innovation is the arm locking system, which includes a hinge with a push nut that secures the arms and requires only one screw to replace the arm. This is a convenient feature when maintenance is required. The second feature is a split bottom plate, which provides enough space for a mini camera while reducing the space on the back for components. Third, it has a split top plate that allows HD camera mounts to remain in place while work is required on the main stack - without unscrewing the HD mount. Finally, the QAV-S has isolated 20x20 and 30x30 stack mounting that allows you to maintain your electronics stack without having to change the frame structure and overall design.
