What does Diversity do?

A diversity receiver is 2 receivers in one package, which allows you to choose between 2 antenna systems
for better range and a clearer video image. The most common antenna is an omnidirectional, circularly polarized antenna, which covers a usually circular area around the pilot. However, this reception radius is limited, so after a certain distance from the transmitter, the video signal deteriorates and eventually drops out altogether. With a diversity receiver, a second directional antenna can be used for more range. Directional antennas have a much better range performance than omnidirectional antennas, which is achieved by a narrower reception angle. This makes it possible to extend the range and achieve a more stable picture in difficult environments. With diversity, it is no longer necessary to choose one of the two types of antennas. By mixing different types of antennas, a perfect mix of range and video quality is achieved. The True-D Diversity system quickly selects between the two built-in receivers so that the best signal strength is always available for the best video image.

True-DDiversity

The Furious True Diversity system has 2 receivers and can therefore always select the best video signal from 2 antennas. It actively searches for the highest signal strength and selects the best signal source for maximum picture quality. This provides the best video quality at all times.
