An updated version of Taranis X9 Lite, the X9 Lite S inherits its classic form factor from the FrSky Taranis X9D series remote control. New features of the S version include two switches on the upper part of the remote control and Hall sensor gimbals. The changes are not only on the exterior. This updated version has an accurate SWR display as well as our PARA Wireless Trainer feature that makes it compatible with the FrSky Free Link app and AirLink S, while still maintaining the wired training connection. Equalization charging for 2S Li-ion batteries is now available via USB with an included USB cable.

The Taranis X9 Lite S uses the latest ACCESS communications protocol in addition to the open source ErskyTX / OpenTX operating system, which offers 24 channels of faster baud rate and lower latency due to its high-speed digital module interface. ACCESS features such as wireless firmware updates and wireless configurations are fully supported, providing a more reliable and secure connection between transmitter and model. Even more convenient features are unlocked incrementally, making the X9 Lite S a fully functional remote control with a host of additional features.
