FrSky Variometer Sensor Normal Version
The FrSky variometer sensor calculates the altitude from the atmospheric pressure. The atmospheric pressure will be lower when you increase in altitude. In this way the sensor estimates the altitude. An accurate reading cannot be made if the atmospheric pressure changes in weather. The variometer sensor can also output the altitude rate via the DA-port.
Altitude formula: (output DA voltage -1.65) / 1.65 = rate of altitude / 10.24.
Can be connected directly to the telemetry receivers without sensor hub.
Downward compatibility with existing sensor hubs and sensors, also compatible with new generation Smart Port-enabled sensors. Smart Port enabled, realizes bidirectional full duplex transmission.
