Introducing the third generation of the Mr. Steele motor line. This well thought out piece builds on the success of its predecessors and is tuned for an even higher flight envelope. The same beloved 2306 stator is in play, but this time with a beefier and much smoother 9mm ball bearing (2mm more than the previous 7mm). This allows for a thicker overall shaft, achieving significant durability and more material to dissipate heat.

This motor is also offered in a slightly higher KV for 6S variants: 50KV from the V2 1700KV stout. Increasing the KV gives just enough power without dipping into the red zone of diminishing returns on efficiency. So it's just as efficient, but with more pop.

The completely redesigned engine bell housing with a recessed 6-spoke design allows for a lower profile bell housing and a more modern look. The lower profile has less wind resistance and a lower center of gravity, which aids throttle response. On a side note, the recessed spokes also contribute massively to the durability of the bell housing itself. This really is one tough little engine.

All these amazing new features and we were still able to keep the weight under 30g. With the full length of the cable and the flat plastic sleeve, this motor comes in at 29g.

While the sleeves remain interchangeable with V1/V2, the V3 stator and bell is only compatible with other V3 models. You can swap out the SILK N48 magnetic bells for the STOUT N52 magnetic bells (extra power and response). However, because we used a thicker shaft, these are NOT compatible with the previous generation Steele motor parts. This is not so perfect but to be innovative sometimes you have to switch.

SILK - 2306 2345KV N48 solenoids recommended but not limited to 4/5S 5" freestyle mini quads.

STOUT - 2306 1750KV N52 solenoids recommended but not limited to 6S 5" Freestyle Mini Quads.
