Who hasn't been there?
your beloved copter crashed into a strawberry field during your last flight and was badly mangled. Or you landed roughly on sandy forest soil.
But even if you haven't crash-landed, you should always check and clean your drone. You should pay particular attention to the drone's motors. Even the smallest impurities such as sand, small stones or other dirt can damage the motors during operation. If the dirt is dry, we recommend using a can of compressed air spray or cleaning with a small compressor.
But be careful! With compressed air sprays, some liquid may escape during use. So wait a little after cleaning with compressed air spray before using the drone again. This will prevent defects in the rotors.
If the dirt is more stubborn, it will be necessary to take the motor apart. Take a look at YouTube to see how this is done and how you can best remove the dreaded "magnetic sand".
An engine that is in good condition and works flawlessly is a pleasure to use. Basic knowledge of maintenance and care is essential for every pilot.
