Based on the F405 2-4S 20A Brushless Flight Controller V4, the F405 4S 20A Toothpick Brushless Flight Controller V5 uses a new ICM42688 gyro and ESC chip that comes with BLUEJAY ESC firmware to support bi-directional D-Shot. In addition to the plug-and-play connectors for the receiver and HD Digital VTX as on the V4 board, the V5 board has been designed with a streamlined layout to make soldering easier and prevent solder from jumping to another pad and shorting out components.

Features

• The flight control board not only has a rational layout, but is also equipped with larger solder pads. This makes it very easy for pilots to solder on external electronics.
• Thanks to high-quality MOSFETs, the flight controller can handle a continuous current of 20A and a peak current of 25A.
• The direct soldering of the motor wires to the solder pads enables a lower resistance for more current on the motors. In addition, the solder pads are reinforced with thick copper and an edge plating process, ensuring solid value and long-lasting use.
• The assignment of UART ports, UART3 for RX, UART4 for HD digital VTX, UART6 for Analog VTX and UART1 for spare needs, is more convenient for pilots to solder.
• Come with a 25.5 * 25.5 mm whoop mounting pattern, this board can be added to both the Toothpick drone and the Cinematic whoop quadcopter frames such as Pavo25 and X-Ritter 35.
